Bamboo is naturally durable with weather resistance. The final coating of marine grade clear varnish gives the surface a smooth feel and grip at the same time when it is wet. The natural elasticity and long continuous fibers of the JUPIT bamboo SUP allow the rider to better feel the reaction of the water. JUPIT is made with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) core that is shaped using a computer controlled (CNC) machine. EPS foam is lightweight, provides thickness and buoyancy. The foam core is sandwiched between Fiberglass surfaces that create the stiffness and structure of the synthetic board. An additional wooden stringer (stringer) made of special marine wood is inserted transversely in the center of the board for increased stiffness and durability. Integrated 4-point front D-ring mount and adjustable bungee system for tool storage and easy access. The expandable front bungee system allows the rider to easily and safely carry items such as a dry bag or light gear, snacks and water bottle. The integrated vent allows air pressure to balance between the EPS foam core of the board and the outside of the board. The vent design protects the foam core from delaminating when temperature changes cause air to expand. JUPIT also features the built-in carrying handle, which is recessed and makes portability easy.
